Given:-

Initial velocity(u) = 20m/s

Final velocity(v) = 30m/s

time(∆t) = 10 seconds

Find:-

Acceleration = ?

Distance travelled = ?

________________________________

Acceleration = \sf\dfrac{v - u}{\triangle{t}}

=> \sf\dfrac{30 - 20}{10}

=> \sf\dfrac{10}{10}

=> 1m/s²

a = 1m/s²

Acceleration of a moving bus is 1m/s².

We can find the distance by second equation of motion..

s = ut + (1/2)at²

s = 20(10) + (1/2)(1)(10)²

s = 200 + (1/2)(100)

s = 200 + 50

s = 250m

Distance travelled by a bus is 250m.
