A black contains 8 red balls,10 white balls & 6 black balls. A ball is drawn from this bag. What is the probability that ball drawn is red or black?

No. of red balls = 8

No. of white balls = 10

No.of black balls = 6

Total no.of balls = 8+10+16 = 34

P(ball drawn is red or black) = black balls + red balls / total no. of balls

                                               = 6+8 / 34

                                               =14 / 34
