A blacksmith hammers a hot piece of iron while making a tool. How does the force due to hammering affect the piece of iron?

since the piece of iron is exposed to both heat and force at the same time, it is crused under the force of the hammer

when the iron heated the atoms vibrates an iron loses its strength.the force makes the soft iron changing shape.
