. A blanket keeps us warm and when it is wrapped over an ice block, the ice
does not melt.why?​

Ice covered in blanket does not melts bcoz the wool present in the blanket prevents the absorption of heat from ice by conduction, convection as well as radiation. Here prevents does not means that it totally prevents it but it reduces the absorption of heat to a great extent, so ice takes time to melt.
