A blanky is wrapped around a person whose clothes are on fire to extinguish the fire by cutting off the supply of air. If a wet blanket is wrapped around a person instead of dry blanket,would the fire extinguish? why not or why?

It will  extinguish faster with wet blanket because the moisture in the blanket can cause the fire to put off and also the blanket itself is to cut off the air supply and since fire is on the clothes and not because of some electrical damage or oil it gets off faster with water and it does when wooden houses catch fire so it would be preferable to extinguise the fire on the persons clothes with wet blanket.
