Answer:

C. 300 kgf

Explanation:

Lets take

Tension in string B is T'.

Tension in string A is T.

Now find the component of tension T'

The vertical  component of tension T' = T' sin θ            (θ = 45 °)

The vertical  component of tension T' = T' sin 45 °

The horizontal  component of tension T' = T' cos 45 °

The vertical component of tension T' will balance by 300 kgf

T' sin 45 ° = 300 kgf

T'=300\sqrt 2\ kgf

The horizontal component of T' will balance by tension T

T =  T' cos 45 °

Now by putting the value of T'

T=300\sqrt 2\times \dfrac{1}{\sqrt2} kgf

So T= 300 kgf

So the option C is correct.

C. 300 kgf
