mg(dh) = 0.5k(dx)^2
Where,
m = block mass,
dh = difference between the table height
And,
The block height at maximum spring compression = 0.6 - 0.10 = 0.5 m, g = 9.8 m/s^2, k = 2.4kN/m = 2400 N/m,
dx = spring compression distance = 0.25 - 0.10 = 0.15 m
m(9.8)(0.5) = 0.5(2400)(0.15)^2
m = 5.5 kg
