Concept:-

Here, We have given the volume of the block and it is made up of granite whose density is of 2.8g/cm³. We have to find the mass of the block, to find we use certain formula through which we will get our answer.

Given:-

  • Volume of the block is 27,000 cm³.
  • Density of the granite is 2.8g/cm³.

To Find:-

  • Mass of the block ?

Solution:-

Here, To find mass we use certain formula,

\sf{i.e.,\ \ Mass\ =\ Density\ \times \ Volume}

So, putting the values in the above formula we get,

\sf{\Longrightarrow Mass\ =\ 2.8\ g/cm^{3}\ \times\ 27,000\ cm^{3}}

\sf{\Longrightarrow Mass\ =\ 2.8\ \times\ 27,000}

\sf{\Longrightarrow Mass\ =\ 75,600\ g}

We know that,

⇒ 1000 g = 1 kg

\sf{So,\ 75,600\ g\ =\ \dfrac{75,600}{1000}kg}

                      \sf{= 75.6\ kg}

\sf{i.e.,\ \ 75\ kg\ 600\ g}

Hence, Mass of the block is of 75 kg 600 g.
