A block is displacement from ( 1 m, 4m, 6 m) to (2 ICAP + 3 J cap + 4 cap) metres under a constant force f = (6 ICAP - 2j cap + K cap) Newton's. find the work done by this force

The negative sign shows that Force is applied in the opposite direction as that of displacement, I.e, 180>θ>90

of work done is

Given:

The displacement of block r1=1i+4j+6j

The displacement of block r2= 2i+3j+4k

The force acting on the block F= 6i-2j+k

To find:

The work done by the force.

Solution:

The formula

W= F.dr

Now the

dr=r2-r1

Putting the above values

dr=1i-j-2k

Now put the values in the above formula

W=(6i-2j+k).(i-j+2k)

W=6+2+2

W=10 J

So the work done on block is 10 J
