as the static frictional force = 10N

=> the body will not move for any force less than 10N

=> whatever force applied if it is less than 10 N then it will be applied to overcome static frictional force
_______________________________

=> here 6N if force is applied
=> 6 N will be the magnitude of frictional force on the block

this is because.... as we apply 6 N the block also apply reaction force 6 N and as Action and reaction are equal and opposite... the block doesn't move...

Answer:6N

Explanation:

Given . static frictional force = 10N

i.e the block will not move until and an less force of more than 10 N is applied .

Horizontal force applied = 6N

Which is less tan 10 N

Hence the frictional force on the block will be equal and opposite to that of the horizontal foce ( it will not change)

Frictional force = 6N
