A block is placed on a rough floor and a horizontal force F is applied on it. The force of friction f by the floor on the block is measured for different values of F and a graph is plotted between them.
(a) The graph is a straight line of slope 45°.
(b) The graph is a straight line parallel to the F-axis.
(c) The graph is a straight line of slope 45° for small F and a straight line parallel to the F-axis for large F.
(d) There is a small kink on the graph.

Answer ⇒  Option (c). and Option (d).

Explanation ⇒   The Graph plotted for the friction and the Force applied on it is attached in the attachment.

From the Attachment, We can see there is a small kink at the top which means after the static friction has been reached a maximum value with the increment in the force applied on it, there is a little decrease in the friction which is just the kink.

Also, we can see that the line is making an angle of 45° with the x-axis. After some time the Force of the friction become constant with the increase in force there is no effect of the  Friction, since it became the constant.

Hence, option (c). and (d). are correct.

Hope it helps.
