We have :

Initial velocity (u) is of 10m/s.
Final velocity (v) is 0.
We know that ,
- a = μg
Here,
- a is acceleration
- μ is coefficient of kinetic ffriction.
Now, using 3rd equation of motion :
- v² = u² + 2as
Here,
- S is displacement
- u is initial velocity
- v is final velocity
(0)² = (10)² - 2 × (0.1 × 10) × S
0 = (10 × 10) - 2 × (0.1 × 10) × S
0 = 100 - 2 × 1 × S
0 = 100 - 2S
2S = 100
S = 100 / 2
S = 50m
Therefore,
- It will travel 50m before coming to rest.
