A block is pushed by force of 10N a frictional force of 2N act between the block and surface. find the work done by frictional force when the block moves 10 m​

Answer :

Work = Force x Displacement

=> Work = - 2N x 10m

=> Work = - 20J

Note : As the frictional force acts opposite to the direction of motion, the value of force is taken as negative.

Therefore, work done by friction is equal to - 20 joules.
