A block moving on a surface with velocity 20m/s comes to rest bcoz of surface friction over distance 40m . g=10m/s^2 .Find u(mue)​

Applying eqn. v^2 = u^2 - 2*a*s , and putting ,v = 0,

u =20 m/s,

s = 40 m,

we get a = 5 m/s^2 .

Hence,

co-efficient of dynamic friction = a/g = 5/10

= 0.5 . Answer!!
