A block of glass 40 cm long, 35 cm wide and has a thickness of 2cm. Find its Density if its mass is 16.8 kg.

volume = 40cm \times 35cm \times 2cm

 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: =0.4m \times 0.35m \times 0.02m

\:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: =0.0028 \: m^{3}

FORMULA :

density =  \frac{mass}{volume}

SOLUTION :

density =  \frac{16.8 \: kg}{0.0028 \:  {m}^{3} }

density = 6000 \: kg {m}^{3}
