volume of the glass = length × breadth × height
= 30 cm × 25 cm × 2 cm
= 1500 cm^3
mass = 7.5kg
= 7.5 × 1000 g
= 7500g
density = mass/volume
= 7500g/1500cm^3
= 5g/cm^3

Given :

A block of glass is 30 cm long ,25 cm wide and has a thickness of 2 cm .

Mass of block , m = 7.5 kg .

To Find :

The density of block .

Solution :

Volume of glass :

V=0.3\times 0.25\times 0.02\\\\V=0.0015 \ m^3

We know , density is given by :

D=\dfrac{m}{V}\\\\D=\dfrac{7.5}{0.0015}\ kg/m^3\\\\D=5000\ kg/m^3

Therefore , the density of glass is 5000\ kg/m^3 .
