A block of iron has dimensions 2 m X 0.5 m X 0.25m.The density of iron is 7.8 g cm–³ . Find the mass of block.​

Answer:

Given , I = 2m

b = 0.5m

 h= 0.25m

Density of iron =  7.8gcm3 = 7.8×1000kgm−3 = 7800kgm−3

Volume of block = l×b×h

= 2×0.5×0.25 = 0.25m3

From relation d= VM

∴ Mass of iron block M=V×d

= 0.25×7800kgm3

= 1950kg
