A block of iron of mass 7.5 kg and of dimension 12cm× 10cm × 8cm is kept on a table top on its base of side 12cm × 8cm. calculate thrust

Mass of Iron block (m) = 7.5 kg

Dimensions of the base of Iron block = 12 cm × 8 cm

So , Area of the block (A) = 96 cm²

A = 96 × 10⁻⁴ m²

Thrust (P) : It is defined as force acting per unit area

Here force acting is given by the weight of the object .

Thrust = 7812.5 Pa
