hi,

mass of block = 0.1kg

horizontal force(N) =5N

u = 0.5

frictional force = uN

= ( 0.5 ) ( 5 )

= 2.5

therefore the applied force is more than maximum frictional force

so the body is in equillibrium

i.e., Weight (W) = Mg

= ( 0.1 )( 9.8 )

= 0.98

frictional force is equal to weight

which is approximately equal to 1

hope it helps...❤
