co–efficient of friction (k) =0.5


Horizontal force = 100 N

g = 10m/s2

Solution


Normal reaction = M* G = 10*= 10


Normal reaction = 100N


Friction force (F) = k* 0.5 = 0.5 * 100* = 50N


F = Ma


50 = 10 * a

a = 5 m/s2
