Mass of the block (m)=10kg

Coefficient of friction (u)=0.5

Acc due to gravity (g)=10m/s²

Horizontal force acting on the block (F)=100N

we know that frictional force always acts in the opposite direction of motion

f=uN

f=umg

f=0.5×10×10

f=50N

The net force on the block

F - f =ma

100 - 50 =10 a

a=50/10

a=5m/s²

I hope this helps
