A block of mass 120 gram moves with a speed of 6m/s on a frictionless horizontal surface towards another block of mass 180gram kept at rest and the first block stops. Find the speed of the other block after coalition

Mass of first block =3/25 kg

Mass of second block =9/50 kg

Speed of first block =6 meter per second

let speed of second block after collision =x

FROM CONSERVATION OF MOMENTUM

=M1U1 +M2U2 = M1V1+M2V2=0

= 3/25*6+9/50*0=3/25*0+9/25*x=0

=18/25=9x/50

x=4meter per second
