We know that,
Work Done= F.s.cos0
Here, F= 40 N, s= 2 m, 0=0°
Therefore, Cos0° = 1
Hence, W.D = 40*2 = 80 J
Now, W.D by weight = Potential Energy of The block = m*g*h = 2*10*2. = 40 J
( But it will be in the opposite direction so you can put a -ve sign to represent that)
