Explanation:

this is because the maximum friction force that can act is 0.8×4×10=32 but the external force is just 30 N hence ground will exert 30 N in horizontal direction and there will be normal force equal tp weight of block i.e 4 ×10 = 40N

hence resultant force will be underoot of (30 square and 40 square)

answer is 50N
