Solution:

From the given information, we can draw the Free body diagram of the block,

the Free body diagram of the block is shown below,

from the given figure, we infer that,

the component of weight normal to the plane is 9g cos 160°

= 9 × 10 × cos 160

= 87.3 N

thus, the component of weight normal to the plane is 87.3 N
