Here is ur answer ,
Let assume that, elevator is moving with an acceleration " a ".
So, If the lift with up. The weight of the block inside the lift increases.I.e, apparent weight.
Apparent weight = m (g+a).
If the lift is stationary.Then the tension in the string will be mg.
But the elevator is accelerating. so the tension in the string will be ,
T = m (g+a).
