• A block of mass m, kg accelerates at 10 m·s-2 when a
force of 10 N acts on it. Another block of mass m2 kg
accelerates at 5 m:82 when the same force acts on it.
Find the acceleration if both the blocks are tied
together and same force acts on the combination.

Answer:

3.33m/s^2

Explanation:

simply

F=ma

so

10=m×10

m=1kg

and

10=M×5

so

M=2kg

so total mass

=m+M

and further both masses are acted by 20N force so

10=(m+M) a

so

a=10/(1+2)

a=3.33m/s^2
