A block of mass ′m′′m′ is placed on floor of a lift which is rough. The coefficient of friction between the block and the floor is μμ. When the lift falls freely, the block is pulled horizontally on the lift floor. The force of friction is:

As the lift is falling freely so the block of mass have zero acceleration. So normal force of the block will be zero.
So N = 0
As force of friction is μN
but N is zero
So force of friction is zero
