rate of water (dm/dt) = 1 kg/sec

We know that,

 F = v \frac{dm}{dt} \\ \\  F = 5 \times 1  \\ \\ F = 5 N<br /><br />\textbf{According  to newton's second  law}   \\ \\ F = ma \\ 5 = 2 \times a \\ \\ a =2.5 \ m\sec^{2}
