A block of weight 1 N rests on an inclined plane of inclination "q" with the horizontal . The coefficient of friction between the block and the inclined plane is "u" . The minimum force that has to be applied parallel to inclined plane to make body just move up up the plane is ????? ( answer is " u cos q + sin q " ) pls help

we want to push the block the block up the plane hence we have to counteract the effect of its component of weight and also friction force.
hence required force (F) is given as:
F= mg sinq + u mg cos q
as mg=1N
=> F= sinq + u cosq.

F = mg sin q + umg cos q

(mg = 1N, given)

Therefore,

F = sin q + u cos q.
