We know that a floating body is pushed up with a force equal to the gravity of the displaced fluid.

Now the question is: What volume of water we need to displace in order to generate a force equal to the gravity of the cube?

The mass of the cube = V x Density=0,6kg

Gravity of the cube is approximately 60N so we need to find out what is the height of a water column with area 0,1 x 0,1 that has a gravity of 60N. Assuming water density 1g/cm3 you can calculate the height being 0,06m (6cm). The answer to the question is 4cm.

If is not clear I can write down on a piece of paper. Al you need to know to figure it out by yourself is Archimedes formula and Density formula.
