a block of wood is in the form of a cube and its edge is 4 metre how many cuboidal
pieces of size 20 into 10 cm into 5 cm can be cut from the block if there is no wastage of wood ​

Volume will remain same as there is no wastage...

volume of cube

 {l}^{3}  = 4 \times 4 \times 4

 = 64 {m}^{3}

volume of one cuboid

lbh = 20 \times 10 \times 5

 = 1000 {cm}^{3}

now

64{m}^{3}  = x {cm}^{3}

x = 6400000 {cm}^{3}

therefore

Let y be the number of cuboids

6400000 = y\times 1000

y =  \frac{6400000}{1000}

y = 6400

Hence 6400 cuboid will be formed
