Answer:

volume of cube=side^3

=4×4×4

=64m²

volume of rectangular piece=l×b×h

=20×10×5

=1000cm²

=10m²

no. of rectangular pieces can be cut from the cube=64/10

=6.4

hence, final answer is 6.4 pieces can be cut from the cube.

Given

A block of wood is in the form of a cube, its edge is 5 m and Block dimension is :-

  • 20 cm x 10 cm x 10 cm

We Find

How many rectangular pieces of dimension 20 cm x 10cm x10 cm can be cut from the block?

We Know

1 m = 100 cm , So 5 m = 500 cm

Volume of Cube = Edge³

Volume of Cube = 500³ cm

Volume of Cube = 125000000 cm³

So, Volume of Cube is 125000000 cm³

Volume of pieces = 20 cm x 10cm x 10 cm

Volume of pieces = 2000 cm³

So, Volume of pieces is 2000 cm³

Now, According to the question

We Find, How many rectangular pieces can cut from the block :-

= Volume of Block / Volume of pieces

= 125000000 / 2000

= 62,500

Hence, 62,500 rectangular pieces can cut from the block.
