A block of wood of mass 2kg is lying on the friction less table. A force of 8N is applied on it for 10s . Calculate it's kinetic energy .​

Answer:

Given: mass=2kg

Force=8N

Time=10sec

Using formula,

F=ma

a=F/m

=8/2

=4 m/s^2

Again,

Intial velocity of block of wood, u=0 m/s.

Using formula,

V=u+at

=0+4*10

V =40m/s

Now,

Kinetic engery=1/2mv^2

=1/2*2*40*40

=1600J
