"The mass of the block in kilogram is 2 kg.

Solution:

We know that static friction is self-adjusting force

Moreover, it changes itself with respect to the applied force.

The "static friction force" is always equal to "net external force" i.e., F = P

For an equilibrium block, it is consider that,

Friction force = 10 N

Coefficient of static friction = 8

Angle of inclination = 30°

{ F }\quad =\quad { mg }\sin{ \theta}

Since, the mass is acting in vertical direction sine is considered.

\therefore \quad 10\quad =\quad m\quad \times \quad 10\quad \times \quad \sin{ 30 }

\because \quad \sin { 30 } \quad =\quad \frac { 1 }{ 2 }

On simplifying we get, m = 2 kg"
