Specific gravity  = (Weight on air) / (Weight in air - Weight of object when submerged in water)
Specific gravity of Block = 15 / 15 - 12
Specific gravity = 15 /3
                         = 5

Answer:

Specific gravity  = (Weight on air) / (Weight in air - Weight of object when submerged in water)

Specific gravity of Block = 15 / 15 - 12

Specific gravity = 15 /3

                        = 5
