Answer:

Speed of boat in still water = 16 km/hr.

Speed of the river = 10 km/hr.

Now;According to the question

=>Speed of boat with the river current = (Speed

Speed of boat in still water)+(Speed of river)

= (16+10) km/hr.

= 26 km/hr.

Speed of boat against the river current = (Speed

(Speed of boat in still water)-(Speed of river)

= (16-10) km/hr.

= 6 km/hr.

Hence, the Speed of boat with river current is 26 km/hr. And the Speed of boat against the river current is 6 km/hr.

Explanation:

When the boat will go with the river current the speed of river and the speed of boat in still water will be added.

And, when the boat will go against the river current then the speed of boat in still water and the speed of river current will be subtracted.

I hope that it will help you.....
