downstream = 48 km , t = 4 h
speed of both in downstream = 48/4 = 12 km /h
speed of boat in upstream = 56/ 7 = 8 km / h
speed of boat in still water = D +U / 2
= 12 + 8 /2 = 10 km /h
so , speed of boat in still water = 10 km/h
