The velocity of boat = 12Km/hr.
During moving against water resultant velocity be = V current - V boat
=12/3
=4 Km/hr.
VCurrent-V boat = 4
V current-12= 4
V current=16 km/hr.

Let the speed of the current = x km/h

According to the question,

= 12 - 4 = x = 8 km/h

Pranothi1: Speed of boat in still water:
Pranothi1: distance/time = 12/1 =12km/hr
Pranothi1: Speed against the current =
Pranothi1: 12/3=4 km/hr
Pranothi1: Let the speed of the current = x km/h

According to the question,
