Well I consider speed of the stream is 1km/hr and not 1km/minute

Now assume speed of the boat in still water is x km/hr

Then speed of the boat in downstream = x+1

And speed of the boat in upstream = x-1

time x speed = distance

Now, according the question

96 (x+1) = 120 (x-1)

96x+96 = 120x-120

24x = 216

x = 9

Answer: Speed of the boat in still water is 9 km per hour
