F = ma
1.8 × 10^4 = 3000 × a
a = (1.8 × 10^4) / 3000
a = 6 m/s^2

v^2 - u^2 = 2aS
a = (v^2 - u^2) / (2S)
6 = v^2 / (2 × 3)
v = 6 m/s

Velocity of boat is 6 m/s

Answer:

6m/s

Explanation :-

Given that,

u=0

force (f) =1.8×10 N

distance [S] = 3m

velocity (v) =?

sol:-

we know that,

f=ma

° a =f/m

a = 1.8 ×10/3000

a= 18 ×10³/3 ×10³

a= 18/3

•°• a= 6 m/

from the equation,

v² - =2as

= 2(6)(3)

= 12(3)

= 36

v =

{v}  =   \sqrt{36}

v =  \sqrt{ {6}^{2} } v = 6 m/
