Given :-

☄ Initial velocity of the boat, u = zero

☄ Acceleration of the boat, a = 3m/s²

☄ Time, t = 8s

To find :-

distance covered by boat in the given interval of time

Solution :-

as acceleration of the boat is constant

using equation of motion .i.e,

s = ut + 1/2 at²

s = distance, u = initial velocity, a = acceleration and t = time taken

➠ s = (0)(8) + 1/2(3)(8)²

➠ s = 0 + 1/2(3)(64)

➠ s = (3)(32)

➠ s = 96 m

thus, the distance covered by the boat is 96 m.

Given :-

  • ♠️ Initial velocity of the boat, u = zero

  • ♠️ Acceleration of the boat, a = 3m/s²

  • ♠️Time taken, t = 8s

To find :-

  • ♥️distance covered by boat in the given interval of time

Solution :-

  • ♣️as acceleration of the boat is constant

  • ♣️using equation of motion .i.e,

➠ s = ut + 1/2 at²

  • s = distance,
  • u = initial velocity,
  • a = acceleration
  • t = time taken

➠ s = (0)(8) + 1/2(3)(8)²

➠ s = 0 + 1/2(3)(64)

➠ s = (3)(32)

➠ s = 96 m

\therefore the distance covered by the boat is 96 m.
