$\frac{x + 8}{30 } - \frac{x - 8}{30 } = 120 \\ \frac{1}{ 30} (x + 8)(x - 8) = 120 \\ {x}^{2} + {8}^{2} = 3600 \\ {x}^{2} + 64 = 3600 \\ {x}^{2} = 3600 - 64 \\ {x}^{2} = 3536$
