Downstream speed =(B+S)km/h

Where B=Speed of boat

S= speed of stream

Upstream speed =(B-S)km/h

ATQ,

\frac{54}{B+S}+\frac{24}{B-S}=5...(1)\\ \frac{36}{B+S}+\frac{48}{B-S}=6...(2)

Solve eq. (1) and (2)

we get B+S=3

B-S=2

So,

B=2.5km/h

S=0.5km/h
