ANSWER

Let the speed of boat be (x−5) in upstream and (x+5) in downstream

s=td or t=sd

⇒530=6hours and 550 = 10hours 

then the equation will be 6(x+5)=10(x−5)

6x+30=10x−50

⇒10x−6x = 30+50

⇒4x = 80

⇒x= 480

⇒x= 20

speed of the boat in still water is 20kmph.
