Answer:

\huge\pink{\tt Hey\:Mate}

The width of river = 1 Km

Boat crosses river in = 15 min

\large{\tt Resultant\:Velocity\:of\:boat = \frac{1km}{0.25h}=4km/h}

\large{\tt Velocity\:of\:river={\sqrt{25-16}}}

\large\red{\boxed{\tt Velocity\:of\:river = 3km/h}}

Hope this will help uh!!

Given

Speed of boat in steel was = 5km/hr

width of river = 1km

time taken by boat = 15min = 1/4hr

so Speed of boat = 1/1/4 = 4km/hr

velocity of water = 5km/hr - 4km/hr= 1km/hr
