Answer:

No, a body can not have its velocity constant, while its speed varies. Rather, it can have its speed constant and its velocity varying. For example in a uniform circular motion.so it is false

Answer:

The statement is false. This is because varying speed refers to varying magnitude of distances covered per unit time or simply varying magnitude of speed.

If a body has to have constant velocity it should have constant magnitude of ie. displacement covered per unit time should be constant, and constant direction or in other words it should have constant speed.

P.S:On the other hand a body can have constant speed but varying velocity. Because even if magnitude of velocity(which in most cases is its speed) is constant the direction can keep changing leading to varying velocity.
