or, a = ( v - u) / t

Substituting the values,
a = (30-20)/2 = 10/2 = 5 m/s²
Now, From second equation of motion,
S = ut + 1/2 at²
S = 20*2 + (1/2) * 5 * 2 * 2
S = 40 + 10
S = 50 m
Therefore, Distance travelled in two seconds = 50 m.
