Answer:

Displacement is the shortest distance travelled from the initial point to the final point. After half revolution the displacement is the length of the diameter which is equal to 2r. Hence the displacement is 2r.

Answer:

first write what is given to you, radius(r) = 14m

                                                    time(t) = 5 minutes

                                                               = 5/60 hours

                                                               = 1/12 hours = 00.083 hours

now lets find things in order

Distance = circumference of park x total revolution made by body

               = 2πr x 5.5

               = 2 x 22/7 x 14 x 5.5

               = 484 m

Displacement = it is the distance of the body from its original position after 5 revolutions body will be at its original position so displacement will be 0 so displacement will be the distance traveled in its last half revolution

Displacement = πr

                       = 22/7 x 14

                       = 44 m

finally,

velocity = total distance traveled / time

             = (484 x 12)/1000

             = 5.808 km/hours
