A body cools from 80°C to 70°C in 5 minutes
and to 62°C in the next 5 minutes, calculate
temperature of the surrounding.​

T1 = 80+70/2 = 75 degrees Celsius

average temperature

T2 = 70+62/2 = 66 degrees Celsius

we know that dT/dt = - K ( T - T ° )

where T is the average temperature and T° Is surrounding area temperature

10/5 = - K ( 75 - T° ) ................(1)

8/5 = - K ( 66 - T°) ....................(2)

divide 1 and 2

10/8 = 75 - T°/ 66 - T°

T° = 30 degrees Celsius
